I recently had an amazing stay at Coniston Number 9 in Windermere. The lodge was clean, warm, and located right in the center of Windermere Lake. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a grill box, and there was even a private marina in the area. The reception was quick to respond and help with any issues, like resetting the central heating. The lodge was also conveniently located near Bowness, Ambleside, and Lakeside, just a short drive away. Additionally, there was a reliable taxi service available at any time.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The lodge had a private marina nearby and offered kids entertainment. The reception staff responded quickly to any issues, such as resetting the central heating.

The swimming pool on-site was quite expensive, costing £30 for just 45 minutes.
